Mysuru: The City Committee of Mysuru District Ganigara Sangha had organised a programme at Town Hall in city yesterday to mark the presentation of Pratibha Puraskar to children of members of the Sangha who had excelled in SSLC and 2nd PUC examinations along with felicitation to people’s representatives. Pratibha Puraskar was presented to 110 students.
Inaugurating the programme Dr. Yathindra Siddharamaiah advised students to work hard to reach set goals. He asked the students not to study any subject just for marks but for knowledge also.
Sangha District President H.C. Umesh, former President N.Papanna, former Mayor Ananthu, MyLac Chairman H.A. Venkatesh, BJP leader H.V. Rajeev, State Government Employees Association Honorary President H.K. Ramu, Assistant Controller of Legal Meteorology M.S. Kumar and others were present.
