Geeth Gaatha Chal Doctor’s Musical Nite on June 4

Mysore/Mysuru: Geeth Gaatha Chal-21, the popular musical show by Doctors and their family, has been entertaining the culture-loving Mysureans since the past 20 years and the 21st edition will be presented on Sunday (June 4) at MMC&RI Platinum Jubilee Hall in J.K. Grounds between 5 pm and 8.30 pm.

Dr. M. Jagannath Shenoy, Industrialist and Philanthropist and Kusuma Shenoy, who have been patronising and sponsoring the event all these years, will be present on the occasion along with Founder-Patron Dr. C. Umesh Kamath.

K.B. Ganapathy, Founder-Editor of Star of Mysore and Mysuru Mithra, will be felicitated on the occasion.

Dr. P.A. Kushalappa is the Organising Chairperson. Syed Aftab Ahmed will compere the show along with Dr. G.D. Ravikumar.

A feast of popular, soul-stirring classics and haunting melodies from the golden era of movies both in Kannada and Hindi will be presented by the following singers at the musical nite:

Dr. M.S. Natashekhar, Dr. A.L. Hemalatha, Dr. P.A. Kushalappa, Dr. U. Ganesh Rao, Dr. U.G. Shenoy, Dr. Shivani Nayak, Dr. Sushma Krishna Murty, Dr. Seethalaxmi Somnath, Dr. Somnath Vasudev, Dr. Shyam Prasad, Apoorva Natashekhar, Dr. Preethi Prabhu, Ranjitha,  Prithvi Shankar, Dr. G.D. Ravikumar, Sparsha Shenoy, R.L. Varsha, Dr. Snehashree, Dr. Suraj Upadhyaya and Dr. Amrutha.  An added attraction at the event will be the dance performance by Dr. Sparsha Shenoy and team.

 The show, which is known for its punctuality, will start at 4.45 pm and the audience are requested to be seated by 4.30 pm. Entry for the show is free.
