Mysuru: Geethanjali Performing Arts Centre, Mysuru, had organised a function at Dhvanyaloka on Bogadi Road here recently for the release of a CD titled ‘Naivedya’ brought out by the centre containing songs of Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore.
The CD was released by Hindustani singer Pandit Veerabhadraiah Hiremath. Presiding over, Sarod Maestro Pandit Rajeev Taranath recalled Tagore’s contribution to music and literature.
Sugama Sangeetha singer H.R Leelavathi was the chief guest. Danseuse Dr. Kripa Phadke, Somanath Dutta and Aloka Dutta of the Centre were present.
