Mysuru: GENERIX-2018, a three-day Inter-Collegiate Sports Meet and Cultural Programme has been organised by Genius College at the College premises on Bannur Road in city from tomorrow (Dec. 20) till Dec. 22.
The Sports Meet will be inaugurated at the College campus tomorrow at 9 am by Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath. Elai Alwar Swamiji of Vangipura Mutt, Melukote, will grace the occasion.
APMC Vice-President Chikka Javarappa and KBL Layout President Nagaraj will be the chief guests. President of Sir MV Housing Co-operative Society Dr. K. Raghuram Vajpayee will preside. President of Sharadanikethana Education Society and Genius College G. Prabhu and Principal of Genius College and Secretary of Sharadanikethana Education Society Surekha N. Prabhu will be present.
Singing and Dance competitions and Food Festival will be held at the College premises on Dec.21 from 9 am. DDPUE Dr. Dayananda will inaugurate. Retd. Village Accountant M.B. Nayak and Principal Surekha N. Prabhu will be present.
Fashion Show, valedictory and prize distribution function will be held on Dec.22 from 4 pm at Jal Mahal Resort on Bannur Road.
MLC K.T. Srikantegowda and Registrar (Evaluation) Dr. J. Somashekar will be the chief guests. President of Sharadanikethana Education Society and Genius College G. Prabhu will preside.
