Mysuru: Chinmaya Mission, Mysuru, has organised a week-long yajna on the 17th Chapter of Bhagavad Gita from Dec. 15 to Dec. 21 at Sri Sringeri Shankara Mutt, Fort Mohalla, Mysuru. The yajna will be in English between 6.30 pm and 8 pm.
The yajnaacharya is a well-known person to Mysureans as Br.Sujay Chaitanya, as he was the resident acharya of Chinmaya Mission, Mysuru for two years. He has conducted many Jnana Yajnas in English in Karnataka and in other places too. After his initiation into Sanyasa early this year, he is now known as Pujya Sw.Aparajitananda. Swamiji’s fluency in the language, deep knowledge of Vedanta, ability to translate that knowledge into common man’s understanding, melodious rendition of Bhajans and a very pleasant demeanor has won the hearts of the spiritual fraternity of our city who eagerly look forward to his discourses.
Starting from Sunday (Dec.16), there will be mass chanting of Vishnusahasranama, Bhajans, Stotrams from 6 pm to 6.30 pm. For details contact Ph: +91 821 2413601.
