Gita Samhita 2025: Sapient College clinches Overall Championship

Mysuru: GSSS Simha Subbamahalakshmi First Grade College (GSSS SSFGC), Mysuru, hosted Gita Samhita 2025, a State-level Inter-Collegiate Techno-Cultural Fest, recently.

The two-day event witnessed the participation of over 800 students from 35 colleges across Karnataka, making it a grand celebration of youth, talent and creativity.

The Fest was inaugurated in a formal ceremony attended by distinguished dignitaries including Dr. M. Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW, Metagalli, Mysuru, as the chief guest. The event was presided over by R.K. Bharath, Member and CEO, GSSS, Mysuru, while Dr. T.S. Rakesh, Principal of GSSS SSFGC, welcomed.

A total of 21 events spanning the fields of technology, management and culture were conducted, including Hackathon, Best Manager, Treasure Hunt, Group Dance, Face Painting, Debate and many more. The competitions provided a vibrant platform for students to showcase their talents and skills in a highly competitive yet collaborative environment.

Sapient College of Commerce and Management, Metagalli, Mysuru, emerged as the Overall Championship Winner, clinching multiple top positions and displaying exceptional performance across various categories.

The grand finale of the Fest was a spectacular Live Musical Concert by the Naiak and Jose Project, featuring electrifying performances by renowned artistes Chethan Naiak, Nadra Bhanu and Shashikala. The concert and DJ night held the second day left the audience enthralled and brought the celebrations to a joyous close.

Gita Samhita 2025 proved to be a successful and memorable event, fostering innovation, cultural expression and inter-collegiate camaraderie.
