Gold chain stolen at Bus Stand

Mysore/Mysuru: Miscreants have stolen a gold chain from a woman, who was boarding a bus at Sub-Urban Bus Stand in city and the incident has come to light lately.

The woman, who lost her gold chain is H.E. Geetha, a resident of Tiptur in Tumakuru district.

On Aug. 4, Geetha had come to attend the naming ceremony at a relative’s house in Srirangapatna. After the ceremony, Geetha came to Sub-Urban Bus Stand in Mysuru and boarded the crowded bus to Tiptur during which she noticed the zip of her vanity bag open.

On checking the vanity bag, she found the purse in which she had kept her 40-gram gold chain missing. She however went back to Tiptur and after discussing with her family, she lodged a complaint at Devaraja Police Station here on Sept. 13.
