In what is said to be a first in the country’s Co-operative banking sector, Tumakuru based Tumkur Merchants Credit Co-operative (TMCC), a Multi-state Co-operative Society, will be opening a Gold Coin ATM at its branch on M.G. Road, beside Krishna Talkies in Tumakuru at 10am tomorrow (Sept. 29).
The ATM will have facility to purchase 0.5, 1, 2, 5 and 10 grams of Gold coins (24 Carat gold) at online rates, through use of Debit cards, Credit Cards and QR codes. The ATM has been named as TMCC Colossika.
The ATM will be inaugurated in the presence of Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara, Co-operation Minister K.N. Rajanna, Tumkur MLA G.B. Jyothiganesh former Minister S. Shivanna, the Bank President Dr. N.S. Jayakumar and other dignitaries. Tumkur Siddaganga Mutt seer Siddalinga Swamiji will grace the occasion.
