‘Gopuram’ Jewellery Show by Art Karat on Mar. 12, 13

Mysore/Mysuru: Art Karat Jewellery presents its finest silver jewellery collection ‘Gopuram,’ inspired by the temple gates of South India, known for its unique art.

The exhibition will be held at Hotel Southern Star on Vinoba Road in city on Mar. 12 and 13 from 11 am to 8 pm.

Asha Kamal Modi, the designer behind Art Karat, has created a master collection that captures the essence of South Indian culture. This collection will feature a mix of South Indian guttapusalu necklaces, temple dance jewellery, temple-paintings studded in jewelled frames. The designs are a beautiful mix of various workmanships from temple to kundan, pave to embossed gold, paachi to Hyderabadi pearls.

Most Art Karat designs are priced between Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 75,000 hence making it affordable for jewellery and art-lovers. The collection includes a beautiful range of necklaces, long earrings, bracelets, bajubandhs, tikaas, mathapatti, rings and nosepins. More than 1,000 designs have been created for this exhibition.
