Mysuru lad Arnav Pathange, taking part in the Grade IV ITF Juniors Tennis Tournament 2019 being played at R.K. Khanna Tennis Stadium, DLTA Tennis Complex, New Delhi, from Nov.25 to 30, won his first round Boys Singles match and entered the pre-quarterfinals yesterday. Arnav Pathange beat Akhilendran Indrabalan 6-2, 6-3 and sailed into the pre-quarterfinals.
Earlier in the qualifying round, Arnav Pathange beat Heerak Vora 6-2, 6-2 to enter the main draw. In the second round, Arnav beat Rishi Jalota 6-1, 6-1 and in the first round had a well-earned 6-0, 6-0 win over Kanish Pandey to progress further.
