K. Rishina Paul, K.M. Umabharati emerge toppers
Mysuru: “Doctors, Lawyers and Engineers should incorporate human values in career and public life,” opined Justice N. Santhosh Hegde, retired Lokayukta.
He was delivering the Graduation Day Address at JSS Ayurveda Medical College premises in city on Feb.20.
Santhosh Hegde observed that the country was progressing well in technology and medicine ably supported by talented youth who have proved that nothing is impossible. However, he advised the youth to distance themselves from politicians who are corrupt and narrow-minded. He regretted that corruption had entered every sector with political sector topping the list and asked the youth to fight against it totally and take an oath in that direction.
The first two toppers in final year K. Rishina Paul and K.M. Umabharati were presented cash prizes and Himalaya Jeevika award and Ayurvi Sharada award respectively. In University subject-based ranking, S. Dikshita bagged the 7th rank and Rishina Paul and Sisira Chandran 8th rank. Best Outgoing Award in UG was presented to K. Samudrudu and in PG, K.S. Vandana bagged the award.
Santhosh Hegde was felicitated on the occasion. JSS Mahavidyapeetha Executive Secretary Dr. C.G. Betsurmath and others were present.
