Mysuru: The Graduation Day ceremony of Government Ayurveda Medical College was held recently at MMC&RI Platinum Jubilee Hall in J.K. Grounds here.
BAMS degree certificates were distributed to the graduating candidates.
Delivering the graduation address, Dr. M.K. Ramesh, Vice-Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), opined that ayurveda was an age-old medical practice with proven result and asked the graduating ayurveda doctors to effectively use their knowledge to help the society.
Presiding over the function, College Principal Dr. Gajanana Hegde advised the young doctors to also hone their communication skills with good behaviour towards their parents and patients. He added that medical professionals should also be indebted to the society to get an opportunity to perform a noble work.
Dr. Shantala Priyadarshini administered the oath to the graduating candidates.
Medals were presented to meritorious graduates and post-graduates.
The graduating doctors performed ‘Guru Vandana’ to their teaching faculty.
