Mysuru, Oct. 5- The Graduation Day Ceremony for the 2025 batch of BE students of GSSS Institute of Engineering & Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru and B.Arch students of GSSS School of Architecture for Women, Mysuru was held recently in M. Govinda Rao Memorial Hall, GSSSIETW Campus, Mysuru.
Amulya Kulkarni Kanade, Global DEI Lead, Renesas Electronics, Bengaluru, was the chief guest. M.J. Pruthvi, Deputy Superintendent of Police, CESC, Mysuru and an alumna of GSSSIETW, was the guest of honour.
Delivering the address, Amulya reminded students that they had “finished just one race and there were many more to come.”
Sharing her own experiences, she advised students to never forget their roots — parents, teachers, and friends — and to “carry the dreams of all young girls who look up to you.”
M.J. Pruthvi spoke about her journey as a student of EEE Department from GSSSIETW to clearing KAS in her first attempt.
Acknowledging the greater challenges women face, she emphasised their strength in multitasking and taking responsibility of parents, siblings, children and family.
Four University rank holders for the year 2025 were felicitated — A. Kavana (1st Rank with 7 Gold Medals in EEE), Rachana D. Kashyap (1st Rank with VTU Gold medal in CSE-AI&ML), B.G. Harshitha (5th Rank in CSE-AI&ML) and L. Likhitha Rani (10th Rank in CSE-AI&ML). Alongside them, five BE Honors students were also recognised for their exemplary academic achievements.
Degree certificates were distributed to 432 BE & 9 B.Arch., students. Oath was administered to students by Dr. K.S. Gururaj, Professor and Head, Department of ISE, GSSSIETW.
Dr. P. Raviraj, Professor & Head, Department of CSE, GSSSIETW introduced the chief guest. Dr. H.R. Roopashree, Professor & Head, Department of AI&DS, GSSSIETW introduced the guest of honour.
Dr. M. Jagannatha Shenoy, President, GSSS, presided. Anupama B. Pandit, Secretary, GSSS, spoke. Dr. M. Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW, welcomed. Ar. Archana J. Uthaiah, Principal, GSSS School of Architecture for Women, proposed the vote of thanks.
B.V. Srinivasa Gupta, Vice- President, GSSS, O. Pratap Kumar, Joint Secretary, R.K. Bharath, CEO, B.K. Nataraj, Management Committee Member, Heads of various Departments and Faculty members were present on the occasion.
