Mysore/Mysuru: Rotary e-Club in association with Eurofins has donated green boards to more than 50 rural schools in and around Mysuru reaching out to Hunsur, H.D. Kote, Nanjangud and Thirthahalli Taluks.
About 140 green boards, approximately costing Rs. 8,000 each, have been distributed so far. This is the second batch of boards for the year 2023 and similar distribution was done during last year also with the total project cost coming to Rs. 20 lakh.
Eurofins, a German Life-sciences company, has sponsored the project from last two years. The event was flagged off at Phoenix International Academy by DDPI Ramachandra Raje Urs in the presence of Rotary e-Club President Rtn. Shadakshari Swamy and e-Club members.
Santhosh Kumar and Tejaswini, Directors of Phoenix International Academy, Sri Ilai Alwar Swamji of Melkote, D.G. Somashekar Murthy, Founder of Anurag Seva Trust, Nanjangud, Raghu Prasad, Industrialist and others were present.
Rotary e-Club of Mysuru was started by like-minded Mysureans across the globe with the intention of giving back to society; the members are from diverse background and spread across the globe.
