GSSSIETW distributes essential materials

Mysore/Mysuru: As part of its social responsibility initiative, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Unit of GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru, distributed essential materials to Village Panchayats and Primary Health Centres of adopted villages on May 27.

During this event, the essential materials like face masks, hand sanitisers and hand washing solution worth Rs.10,000 was distributed to Village Panchayat Offices and Primary Health Centres of Siddalingapura, Naganahalli and Palahalli  which are adopted villages under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Scheme, Government of India.

The institute UBA team intends to distribute essential materials in the second phase to the Government Schools, Anganwadi Centres and Community Library Centres situated in the adopted villages during the month of June-2020.

 The event was supported by Vanaja B. Pandit, Hon. Secretary, GSSS, R.K. Bharath, CEO, GSSS, Anupama B. Pandit, Administrative Officer, GSSSIETW and Dr. M. Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW, Mysuru. 

The event was coordinated by UBA Coordinators S.N. Sheshadri, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry and Syeda Nausheen Fathima, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, GSSSIETW.
