Mysuru: The District-level Sports Meet for State Government employees will be held on Dec. 26 and 27 at Chamundi Vihar Stadium in Nazarbad here.
Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here on Saturday, Department of Sports and Youth Empowerment Assistant Director K. Suresh said that the event has been organised jointly by the District Administration, Zilla Panchayat and the State Government Employees Association.
Suresh said that the Sports Meet will be inaugurated by District In-charge Minister G.T. Devegowda on Dec. 26 at 10 am. Tourism Minister S.R. Mahesh will hand over the Sports Torch. Association President H.K. Ramu will hoist the flag. MLA Tanveer Sait will preside.
