‘Guruvandana’ by Bhavsar Mahasabha

Ten members of Bhavsar Kshatriya community were felicitated at Pathrakartara Bhavan in city on Sunday for their distinguished service in the field of education, as part of the 4th year Guruvandana programme organised by the Yuva Parishad of All India Bhavsar Kshatriya (AIBK) Mahasabha.

Mysore/Mysuru: As part of the 4th year Guruvandana programme, Yuva Parishad of All India Bhavsar Kshatriya (AIBK) Mahasabha had organised a function at Pathrakartara Bhavan in city on Sunday to felicitate ten members of the community for their distinguished service in the field of education.

Anil Kumar Rampure, Suman Tikare of Mandya, Divya Lokare, Bhavani Rampure of Mysuru, Nagalakshmi Vadone, Mamatha Vadone of Nanjangud, G. Sumathi of Hunsur, Devaraju Pisse of Doddaballapur, Vinayak Khamitkar of Davanagere and Vinaya Krishna of Bengaluru were felicitated.

Later, addressing the gathering, MLA L. Nagendra highlighted the importance of teachers in every walk of life.

Inaugurating the programme, AIBK Mahasabha-Yuva Parishat National President Dr. Yogendra Varne called for unity in the community and advised the community members to add their surname ‘Bhavsar.’

Community members later urged MLA Nagendra to draw attention of the Government to set up Bhavsar Kshatriya Development Corporation and Karnataka State Tailors Federation in the region and submitted a memorandum to the MLA.

Ganesh Lalige, Mysuru Unit President Santosh Patange and social worker Rajesh Ganna were present.
