H.C. Thammannachar (84), Janapada Academy and Rajyotsava awardee, senior Yakshagana artiste, Bhagavata of Sri Rameshwara Yakshagana Sutrada Bombe Mela and a resident of Hallare village, passed away on Saturday at the village.
He leaves behind his wife, two daughters, a son and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at his village yesterday, according to family sources.
