H.S. Nanjundaswamy (79), former Director of State Bank of Mysore and a resident of Hosabandikeri, near Nanjumalige Circle, passed away yesterday. He was the leader of SBM Employees Union, served Karnataka Pradesh Bank Employees Federation in various capacities, Member of the SBM Staff Welfare Fund, Trustee of SBM Employees Provident Fund Trust and leader of SBM Employees Housing Co-op. Society.
He leaves behind his wife Bharati, son H.N. Prashanth, daughter-in-law Kanmani, daughter H.N. Prathiba, son-in-law Harish and grandchildren.
Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon.
