Mysuru: Marking the birthday of BJP leader H.V. Rajeev, Prajnavantha Nagarika Vedike and Vipra Helpline had organised a function in city on Sunday to distribute free passes to 50 poor children and senior citizens for the ‘Trin-Trin’ Public Bicycle Sharing (PBS) system.
The passes were distributed by Rajeev who went around riding a bicycle along with the children. Speaking on the occasion, Rajeev said that the PBS system was environment-friendly and a boon to the poor. He added that the system was monitored through GPS and hence very safe.
About 100 Pourakarmikas were felicitated on the occasion. District Brahmana Sanga President D.T. Prakash and others were present.
