Hafiz Maqbool Ahmed (78), a resident of Turab Ali Street in Mandi Mohalla passed away last evening following brief illness.
He served as Vice-Imam of Masjid-e-Shahi for 45 years in Lashkar Mohalla and also served as a teacher in Mahaboobia Berka Makan, Arabic Mudaris.
He leaves behind his wife, three sons, five daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Namaz -e- Janaza will be held at 1.45 pm after Zohar at Masjid-e- Shahi on Erekatte Street in Lashkar Mohalla followed by the burial at Muslim Burial Ground near Tipu Circle here today.
