Mysuru: The day-long Haj training and vaccination camp, organised by the Mysore District Haj Committee began at R.K. Palace near P&T Quarters in Udayagiri here this morning.
370 pilgrims have been selected from Mysuru, Mandya and Chamarajanagar district by Karnataks State Haj Committee. Dr. Nageshwara Rao, Dr. Mahesh, Dr. Srinivas, Dr. Nishanth, Dr. Ramya and Dr. Faizana administered the vaccination to the pilgrims, which is compulsory before undertaking the pilgrimage. Health cards were issued to those who were administered vaccination.
Hazrath Moulana Abdul Salam Rizvi and Hazrath Moulana Mohammed Zaka Ulla Siddiqui and Hazrath Moulana Mufthi Syed Tajuddin spoke about the details of undertaking Haj pilgrimage and Ziarath of tomb of Prophet Mohammed in Madeena Munawara. Earlier, Syed Shafi Ulla, President of Anjuman-e-Hadeeathul Adab welcomed.
Sir Khazi of Mysore Hazrath Moulana Mohamed Usman Shariff, Hazrath Moulana Maqbool Ahmed Nizami, Haj Camp 2018 Convenor Suhail Baig, Joint Convenor Syed Abbas, Member of Karnataka State Waqf Council Mohamed Mumtaz Ahmed, Corporator K.C. Shoukath Pasha, Jameel Ahmed Ashrafi, Rafiq Ahmed Khan, Secretary of Jamia Tippu Syed Yunuss, and others were present.
