Mysuru: Over 2,500 students of various colleges of the district coming under Mysore University wrote the entrance test conducted by Negilayogi Vidyavardhaka Competitive Exams Training Centre in association with Mysore University, yesterday at Junior BA Hall in Maharaja’s College premises here.
Candidates who pass the test would be groomed by the Training Centre for Competitive Examinations like KAS and IAS in a year-long coaching camp with a mission ‘Halligobba / Collegegobba IAS/KAS.’
The free coaching camp will be held on Saturdays, Sundays and Government holidays at Vidyavardhaka Law College on Seshadri Iyer Road here. The purpose is mainly aimed at candidates coming from poor economic and social background. Resource persons from various States would also train the participants of the camp, according to the organisers.
The programme was inaugurated by probationary IAS officer Harshal Boyar.
Negilayogi President Dr. K.N. Chandrashekar, Training Centre Convenor T.V. Hanumantha and others were present.
