Sir
Recently I went to Mysore South Post Office on Manandavadi Road to get my son’s Aadhaar card updated. I was taken aback once I saw the name plate Dr. Venkatesh, M.Com, who is in charge of the Post Office.
He politely asked us to sit for a while, gave a form to fill, scanned face and iris and we left after remitting the required fee.
No appointment, no tokens, no waiting period and no hassles. Within a few minutes I got an SMS acknowledging the updation and within a week I got the updated message.
Years back when Aadhaar was first introduced, my family members got the Aadhaar card in the same manner but in a distant Post Office. I only wish may their tribe increase.
