Hazarath Haleem Pasha Khadree Annual Sandal Urus held

Mysuru: The Annual Sandal Urus Shariff of Hazarath Haleem Pasha Khadree and a qawwali programme, organised by the Management Committee of Darga Hazarath Haleem Pasha, Haleem  Nagar, Bannimantap extension, was held under the Chairmanship of Ariff Mekhri, Chairman, Mysuru (District) Wakf Board Advisory Committee in city recently.

The programme began with the recital of verses from the Holy Quran by Hazarath Sadiq Ahmed, Imam of Aasjid Akbaree. Imtiaz Pasha, President of the Committee, felicitated chief guest Iqbal. Moulana Afsar Sayeed of Khateeb Masjid Akbaree and Abdul Khader Shahid, President of Azeez Sait Block Congress Committee spoke, on the occasion.

Later, prizes were distributed to the students of Arabic Madries, Akbaree and Rehamaniya.

Arif Mekhri, who also spoke on the occasion, paid tributes to former Minister late Azeez Sait, the founder of Haleem Nagar and former Corporator late M.G. Rehaman Shariff for their service in the development of the area.

Syed Iqbal, member of N.R. Assembly Ashraya Committee, Mumtaz Ahmed, Secretary of Mysore District Relief Committee, Hazarath Yaqeen Sha Wali and others were present at the programme.
