Mysuru: Hazarath Tippu Sultan Shaheed Welfare & Urus Committee, Tippu Hall, Meena Bazar on Sawday Road, under the leadership of Committee Secretary Afroz Pasha, celebrated the birthday of Tipu Sultan at a function organised at Allah Malik House, on Ashoka Road cross in city recently.
A delegation led by Afroz Pasha, reached Tipu Tomb at Srirangapatna and offered Fatha Khawni, which was read by Hazarath Moulana Irshad Alam Ashrafi and Hazarath Moulana Mohd. Younus Subhani Razvi, Secretary, Markazi Majlees Ulme Ahle Sunnath Jamath. Later, Afroz Pasha spread flower mats on the tombs of Hazarath Tipu Sultan and his parents.
After Fatha Khawni and Darud-o-Salam, prayers were held for the eradication of COVID. Afroz Pasha spoke on the life and achievements of Tipu Sultan.
Organizing Secretary of Masjid-e-Moula Hussain at Sathyanagar Khwaja Mohammed Musheer Chishti, Tousif Ahmmed Khan of R.K. Palace Convention Centre in Udayagiri, DCC Mysuru Member Radiulla Khan, Congress leader Rehamath Ulla alias Tippu, social worker Mirza Jamsheed Baig Ashrafi, Syed Nayaz Pasha, Sadiq Pasha, Trustees of Majlees Ulme Ahle Sunnath Jamath Trust and others were present.
