As a motivation for the children to continue with the practices at their homes, SIC provided each student a kit containing a set of tooth brush & paste, a bath soap, a detergent cake, a nail cutter and a bottle of hand wash liquid soap. The campaign was planned till the end of 2016-17 academic year (March 31, 2017) and was revisited by SIC team every month to follow-up.
The students were periodically replenished with fresh tooth paste, bath soap, detergent cake and hand wash liquid soap.
The concluding event was held at Bharathi Sthree Samaja School in Railway Hospital Campus on Mar. 24. Rani, Head Mistress, welcomed and thanked the team for selecting their School for this health campaign.
Dr. Bhavanishankar interacted with students to elicit information about their actual involvement in personal hygiene practices. Following these interactions, he presented prizes to the selected students.
