Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Nimishamba Dance Promoters, Mysuru, has organised ‘Hejje-Gejje,’ the 26th Annual National Dance Festival at MMC&RI’s Platinum Jubilee auditorium in J.K. Grounds, opposite Railway Station, on Jan. 28 from 5 pm. Around 350 artistes will present ‘Deva-Devi Vaibhava’ Nrityotsava on the occasion.
Yaduveer Wadiyar of Mysore Royal Family and noted music director and singer Guru Kiran will inaugurate the event in the presence of Guru Vid. Sridhar Jain, Managing Director of Sri Nimishamba Dance Promoters.
On the occasion, ‘Hejje Gejje’ awards will be conferred on Vid. Sudhir and Vidu. Manasi Sudhir, Bharatanatyam artiste-couple of Nrithyanikethana Kodavoor, Udupi; Kala Arati Ratna Dr. Sanjay Shantaram, noted artiste and Founder of Shivapriya School of Dance, Bengaluru and Dilip Raj and Srividya Raj, actor, director and producer couple, Bengaluru.
S. Balaji, Principal, Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala, Harsha of Tholasi Jewels, Mysuru, T.V. Venkatesh, Urja Foods, Mysuru, Rajesh Jain, IJ Convention Hall, Mysuru, Dr. R. Basavaraj, Nirmala Hospital, Mysuru, Dr. H.R. Sanjay, Rajashekar Hospital, Mysuru and Dr. M.V. Girish Kumar, Shubhodaya Hospital, Mysuru, will also be felicitated at the programme.
