Helicopter crash: Ex-Servicemen to pay homage on Dec. 16

A team of Ex-Servicemen has organised a meeting on Dec.16  at 11 am in the premises of ‘Squadron Leader A.B. Devayya Bhawan’ which houses the Office of  Department of Sainik Welfare and Resettlement in city.  The meeting will pay tribute and homage to late Chief of Defence Staff, General Bipin Rawat  PVSM, UYSM, AVSM,YSM, SM, VSM, ADC, Madhulika Rawat and all the other Army and Air Force Officers,  Warrant Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers of Indian Army who lost their lives in an air crash while flying in  Indian Air Force helicopter on Dec.8, 2021 on the way from Sulur to Wellington,  Tamil Nadu.

Military Veterans of all ranks residing in Mysuru city are requested to attend the meeting along with their spouses wearing the military medals to pay homage to the departed.

The venue is open for general public between 11 am and 1 pm to pay tribute  and show  solidarity towards Armed Forces.
