Mysore/Mysuru: Department of Archaeology, Museums and Heritage has organised a series of events from tomorrow (Oct.19) to 21 as part of Dasara festival.
According to a press release, Heritage Cycle Savari (Trin Trin) has been organised on Oct.19 at Town Hall, for students in the age group of 15 to 20 years, men and women. The first 100 persons who register their names will have the opportunity to participate in the event.
Heritage Tonga Ride is organised on Oct. 20 at 7 pm for 50 couples in the age group of 25 to 50 years, who will be considered on the basis of early registration.
Accordingly on Oct. 21 at 7 am, Heritage Walk has been organised from Town Hall, for those in the age group of 18 to 30 years including students, men and women.
Those who register early, totalling 100 persons will be considered for the event.
The names can be enrolled by contacting the Department of Archaeology, Museums and Heritage, Karnataka Exhibition Authority (KEA) premises, directly or by phone or by e-mail to – commr_amh@yahoo.in and ddheritagemysore@gmail.com, stated the press release.
