High voltage power line: Villagers warned

Mysore/Mysuru: The KPTCL will be charging/servicing the newly installed 220/66 KV High Voltage overhead power line (drawn from  Bastipura- Kushalnagar line) at Tammadahalli in Hunsur taluk, any day after Mar.19.

Hence the residents of  Byadarahalli, Vaddaragudi, Ramenahalli, Adaganahalli, Aspatre Kaval, Naganahalli, Nallur Naala, Tammadahalli, Uddur Naala, Ummathur, Madapura, Kereyur, Chikkadiganahalli, Hanchya, Honnenahalli, Jabagere, Manuganahalli, Moddur (Sannehalli Kaval), Mailambur, Tippalapura, Govindahalli Naala, Kattemalalawadi, Niluvagilu Kaval, Varaanchi and  Gavadagere villages in Hunsur taluk and villages in  H.D. Kote taluk that come under the jurisdiction of the power line are asked to be alert.

The villagers are advised not to tie cattle to the power line towers, removal of metal angular, climbing towers, touching cables, growing plants under the power line, flying kites in the vicinity and such other acts. The KPTCL cannot be held responsible for mishaps or loss of life that occur due to violation of the instructions, according to a release issued by the KPTCL Executive Engineer.
