They shouted slogans against the authorities for not implementing permanent drinking water facility to the Hinkal GP, which is the biggest in the district with a population of 35,000.
They alleged that the government has failed to provide water to Hinkal villages which are located very close to Mysuru city.
They also condemned the District Administration for misleading the government by providing wrong information of not having drinking water problem in the district when several villages including Hinkal GP was reeling under severe drinking water crisis this summer.
Though KRS is located very close to Hinkal and main water supply pipeline of Mysuru city passed through their village, residents of Hinkal GP were still deprived of drinking water.

They threatened to intensify their stir, if their demands were not met within a few days.
