Mysuru: A Civil Engineer, who was admitted to a hospital in Bengaluru after an unidentified vehicle hit him and sped away near Kirangoru on Bidar-Srirangapatna Road on Monday, breathed his last yesterday after failing to respond to the treatment.
The Civil Engineer has been identified as Ganesh (27), a native of Nargonalli in K.R. Pet taluk and a resident of Vidyaranyapuram in Mysuru and an employee of a private company in Bengaluru.
Ganesh, on Monday night, was on his way to Mysuru on his Bajaj Pulsar bike (KA-09 EY-7070) when an unidentified vehicle hit him at about 11.30 pm and sped away, leaving Gangesh in a pool of blood on the road.
The public, who saw Ganesh suffering with serious injuries, shifted him to a hospital in Srirangapatna. Ganesh’s parents, who rushed to the hospital, shifted him to a private hospital in Bengaluru, where he (Ganesh) breathed his last yesterday.
Srirangapatna Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
