Syndicate members boycott convocation
As announced earlier, five members of Syndicate headed by C.R. Himamshu boycotted today’s convocation alleging that Dr. Sarvamangala Shankar had not utilised the funds released by the State Government for University’s development and also did not take up the construction of the University’s building on the 8-acre land allotted in Sathagalli in city. However, Music University officials refuted the allegations and added that they had not attended the convocation owing to prior engagements and that there was no misunderstanding with the VC.
