Mysuru: City Hotel Owners’ Association had organised a programme at its premises in Krishnamurthypuram here on Tuesday to pay tributes to Pejawar Seer Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji who passed away recently.
Floral tributes were paid to the portrait of the Swamiji.
Speaking on the occasion, Association President C. Narayana Gowda praised the Swamiji as a very humble and noble person who always opted for ‘live and let live’ policy trying utmost for communal harmony.
Krishna Dhama Trust President P. Jayaram Bhat recalled that Jayachamaraja Wadiyar on learning about the spiritual excellence of the Swamiji at just 18 years, invited the Swamiji to Mysore Palace and honoured him.
Association former President Sudhakar S. Shetty recalled that the Swamiji had a lot of concern for the backward class and treated the entire mankind as one.
Association’s Charitable Trust President Ravi Shastri, Co-operative Society President Subramanya, Secretary Ravindra Bhat and others were present.
