Mysore/Mysuru: With bars and restaurants facing a crisis due to COVID induced lockdown, the Mysuru Hotel Owners Association has appealed the Government to waive off bar licence fee for the year 2021-22.
In a press release, Association President C. Narayanagowda said that CL-9, CL-7 and CL-4 category Bar Licence holders are fighting for survival in the wake of lockdown.
As such, the Government must come to their rescue by waiving off the licence fee for the year 2021-22 as a form of package for bar and restaurant owners, who are facing a financial crisis due to loss of business
Reminding the Government that bar and restaurant owners have paid the licence renewal fee in full for the year 2020-21 when the deadly pandemic broke out last year, Narayanagowda appealed the Government to come to their rescue at this critical juncture, with the second wave of the virus attack causing huge havoc.
