Gold and silver worth Rs. 1.5 lakh recovered
Mysore/Mysuru: Kuvempunagar Police have arrested a house burglar and have recovered gold ornaments and silver articles worth Rs. 1.5 lakh from him.
The accused has been identified as 35-year-old Krishnamurthy, a resident of Yaraganahalli in city. He had burgled the house of one Nanjundaswamy at SBM Colony in Srirampura and had decamped with gold ornaments and silver articles from the house. The accused had purchased a goods vehicle after selling the stolen booty.
Kuvempunagar Inspector Arun, who had registered a case, took up the investigation and has been successful in nabbing accused Krishnamurthy.
DCP (Crime and Traffic) S. Jahnavi and K.R. Sub-Division ACP S.E. Gangadharaswamy guided Kuvempunagar Inspector Arun, Sub-Inspector Gopal and Radha and staff Anand, Manjunath, Hazarath Ali, Puttappa, Suresh and Nagesh in the nabbing and recovery operation.
