House burglar, two-wheeler lifters arrested

Gold, silver, three scooters recovered

Mysore/Mysuru: In separate cases, Kuvempunagar and Lashkar Police have arrested a house burglar and two-wheeler lifters and have recovered the stolen jewellery and two-wheelers from them.

In a case pertaining to house burglary, Kuvempunagar Police, on Jan. 6 have arrested a person at Palam village, East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh, thus solving three house burglary cases committed in their jurisdiction. Following the arrest of the accused, the Cops have recovered 20 grams gold ornaments and 310 grams silver articles, worth Rs. 2.6 lakh besides seizing a car used for the crimes.

The accused had cases already registered at Hubballi and Mangaluru Police Stations and also at various Police Stations in Andhra Pradesh.

On Jan. 4, Lashkar Police have arrested two persons on charges of lifting two-wheelers and have recovered three Suzuki Burgman scooters, valued at Rs. 2.5 lakh from them.

Following the arrest of the two accused, the Police have solved one two-wheeler lifting case each at Lashkar, Udayagiri and NR Police Stations in city.
