416 grams gold worth Rs. 26 lakh recovered, two-wheeler seized
Mysuru: City Crime Branch (CCB) Police have arrested two burglars and have recovered gold ornaments weighing 416 grams worth Rs. 26 lakh besides seizing a scooter.
Following a burglary incident reported at Vijayanagar Police limits, a special Police team comprising CCB officers and staff was formed to nab the burglars.
On Jan. 17, the CCB Police picked up one of the burglars on Ashoka Road and interrogated him. Based on the information provided by the accused, the CCB Police picked up another accused near Mission Hospital Circle on Feb. 10 and interrogated both the accused, during which the accused are said to have confessed of committing crimes.
Following the arrest, the Police have solved one burglary and one two-wheeler theft cases in Vijayanagar Police Station and one burglary case in Haveri Town Police Station.

Umamahesh, Lakshmikanth, Prakash, Suresh, Mohanaradhya, Chandrashekar, Mahesh, Narasimharaju, Madhusudan, Shivanna, Govinda, Ravi, K.S. Mahesh, Mamatha and Ramya in the nabbing and recovery operation.
