House burgled at B.M. Sri Nagar

Mysore/Mysuru: Burglars have made away with gold ornaments and cash from a house in city. The burglary took place at the house of Baburao on the 12th Cross of 1st Main Road at B.M. Sri Nagar here. The burglars have made away with gold ornaments worth Rs. 2.66 lakh and Rs. 62,000 cash.

On July 1, Baburao along with his wife Nagarathna Bai, went on a pilgrimage along with their relatives to Kashi, Ayodhya and other pilgrim places and returned on July 12.

When Baburao opened the lock of the front door, he found the second lock already opened. On entering and inspecting the house, he found the locker forcibly opened and gold ornaments and cash missing. He immediately lodged a complaint with jurisdictional Police on Sunday.

Metagalli Police, who have registered a case are investigating.
