Mysuru: Burglars have decamped with gold, silver and cash from a house at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Nagar in city.
The burglary took place at the house of D. Subbanna between Sept. 5 night and Sept. 8. The burglars have decamped with gold ornaments and silver articles worth about Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 25,000 cash from the house.
On Sept. 5 evening, Subbanna, along with his family members went to his native place in Chamarajanagar for Gowri-Ganesha festival and returned on Sept. 8 evening only to find the lock of the front door broken. On inspecting the house, Subbanna found the almirah locker forcibly opened and valuables stolen. A case has been registered at Alanahalli Police Station.
