Mysuru: Miscreants made away with valuables from a house located at Ramakrishnanagar I Block, yesterday. The Police said that the incident occurred when Bhagyalakshmi, a teacher at Belikere Government School, had been to Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru to welcome her son who was returning from abroad. The incident came to light when the tenant of house in the first floor found the main door open and informed the Kuvempunagar Police, who rushed to the spot and conducted the mahazar.
The Police said that the Bhagyalakshmi in her complaint had said that Rs. 80,000 cash, 100 gram gold jewellery and a few silver articles were missing from the house.
Kuvempunagar Police have registered a case and investigating.
