According to the SSC exam calendar, the application process for the ‘Combined Higher Secondary Level’ exam will begin in the third week of January. Know the opening and closing date of the application process in the table below. The interested candidates shall fill up the application form only after confirming the eligibility conditions.
Staff Selection Commission is yet to announce the Tier-1 exam date of SSC CHSL 2019. Besides, the commission has finally roped in TCS-ion for conducting the exam. The application form for CHSL will be available on the official website (ssconline.nic.in) and can be filled using the instructions mentioned on this page.

It is the responsibility of a candidate to meet the eligibility conditions. If found ineligible at any stage of selection, the candidate will not be considered for further selection.

Online submission of Application Form| SSC CHSL 2019
You can fill up the application form through online mode only. Before you submit the details, ensure that all the entered details are correct and in accordance with your documents. Follow the step-wise procedure to fill up the CHSL Application Form.
Step 1- Access the Registration Form on SSC website
- Log onto ssconline.nic.in and click on ‘Apply’ icon present under the header section.
- Next, click on ‘CHSL tab’ to view the application form link.
- You will find two parts on the page- Registration Part-I & Registration Part-II.
Step 2- New Registration (For new users)
- In order to register, click on ‘register’ under the registration tab.
- Enter basic details such as Father’s name, 10th Class Roll Number, Date of Birth, etc.
- Once you click on the ‘submit’ tab, you will be prompted to review your details and make corrections if required.
- Once the confirm the details, you will be taken to a new page which displays ‘Registration ID’ and ‘Password’.
Step 3- Application Process (for registered users)
Uploading of scanned copies of photo & signature: In the application process, you need to upload the scanned copies of Photo and Signature in the prescribed format, file size, and dimensions.

Step 4- Enter education details and Post preferences
After submitting the digital copies, proceed with filling the remaining details such as education qualification, post preference, etc.
Make sure that you cross check the details before submitting the application form.
Once you submit the form, a preview of application form will be displayed on the screen.
Now, click on Declaration Box to proceed with the payment.
Step 5- Payment through online/offline mode
Online mode payment: You can make the payment through online mode with the help of Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card.
Offline mode payment: Else, you can generate a printout of e-Challan and submit the draft in the nearest SBI branch before the deadline of the application process.
Application Fee| SSC CHSL 2019
As discussed above, the payment can be made through both online as well as offline mode. However, women candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ Physically Handicapped/ Ex-servicemen are not required to pay application fee to appear for any SSC exam.

Application form correction| SSC CHSL 2019
The commission has not provided the facility for application form correction after it is submitted. On top of it, the SSC reserves the right to reject your application if the officials find any discrepancy or blurred scanned copies of photograph/ signature in the form.
The opening date of the CHSL 2019 application process is around the corner so, make sure that you fill up the application form as soon as it is released. The commission will not entertain any complaints if you miss out on filling the application form due to last moment technical errors.
