Mysuru: A huge crocodile has been spotted at Sewage Farm in Vidyaranyapuram here last evening.
On receiving information, RFO Devaraju and staff rushed to the spot and made attempts to capture the croc, which escaped into the sewage water storage tank nearby. The crocodile is about 7 ft. in length and is about four-years-old. RFO Devaraju said that as it had got dark, the crocodile escaped under the cover of darkness and added that a guard has been deployed to observe the movement of the croc and inform them.
According to the staff of Sewage Farm, there are three crocodiles in the Farm which have been spotted together besides stating that these crocodiles have made the Sewage Farm as their habitat and hunt stray dogs who come to feed on sewage.
Devaraju said that efforts are on to capture the crocodile soon.
