Human chain awareness against drug abuse tomorrow in city

Mysore/Mysuru: As part of International Day against Drug abuse and Illicit trafficking, the city’s Agarwal Samaj, in association with Pushpanjali Seva Samsthe will be forming a human chain in front of Kote Anjaneya swamy temple at Palace North Gate here tomorrow (June 26).

Agarwal Samaj President Dr. S.K. Mittal said, the human chain will be formed at 10 am and youths will be administered oath against drug abuse. The school and college students will be taking part, he said, adding that University of Mysore Vice-Chancellor Prof. N.K. Loknath and Registrar V.R.Shylaja will also take part. A poster of the event was released on the occasion.

Columnist Dr.V.Ranganath, Gopalaswamy Educational Institutions head Manjunath, social worker Vikram Iyengar and Prabhakar Sindhe were present at the press meet.
