He was speaking after inaugurating “Vidwath – 2K18,” a two- day State-level Inter-Collegiate Commerce and Management Fest organised by Vidyavardhaka First Grade College at its premises here recently.

“India is growing faster than before and it will take lead in its GDP in the next two years. All that we need is sustainable management; it may be in the field of commerce and management, technology or Infrastructure which is going to happen at the cost of environment and nature. So it is very much essential to conserve our traditional values to protect the balance of Nature. Service orientation, mutual coordination is the utmost need of the day,” he said.

He asked the organisers to arrange for an “Anubhava Mantapa” in which the students would discuss a question, “What do I want to do in my life?” which will enable the students to develop and give back to the society.

Chief guest Bharath Devarajappa expressed that the growth should always be exponential than incremental. He gave several examples of companies which are connecting with the customers by just outsourcing and how even with their zero manufacturing units they have become giants in the industry.

Integration and collaboration is very much needed for those who are interested in a start-up. “As Mysuru is the Yoga Capital of India, it should also become the start-up capital of India,” he said.

He also spoke about his social entrepreneurship where he is investing huge funds to help some twelve thousand agriculturists.

Vidyavardhaka Sangha President Gundappa Gowda presided. V.V. Sangha Secretary P. Vishwanath, Hon. Treasurer S.N. Lakshminarayana and Principal Dr. S. Marigowda were present on the dais.
