Mysuru: State Agriculture Minister N.H. Shivashankar Reddy said that the State Government has decided to give importance to Zero Budget method of natural farming and Israeli method of agriculture farming.
Speaking after inaugurating Raitha Dasara at J.K. Grounds yesterday, the Minister said the farmers are facing lot of financial risk after investing money under the present method of chemical farming. However, encouragement to both these natural and Israeli method of farming not only saves money for farmers, but they can also grow varieties of crops with less water by adopting Israeli method. The government has intended to release more funds for promotion of these agriculture activities, he added.
