Mysuru: St. Philomena’s College (Autonomous), Mysuru, celebrated its Establishment Day (Oct. 9, 1946) in the form of INCEPTA-2024, a brainchild of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), at its auditorium in city recently.
The celebration was marked with the veneration to Saint Philomena, the Patroness Saint of St. Philomena’s Educational Institutions.
Most Rev. Dr. Bernard Moras, the Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Mysore, during his paternal blessings remembered the sacrifices of the First Bishop Rt. Rev. Rene Feuga, the former Bishops, Principals, priests and all the retired faculty members, and stressed upon the present staff, the need of taking the institution to greater heights of glory. He later released the Activities Report of the IQAC.
Dr. V. Deepa, IQAC Co-Coordinator, welcomed the gathering. Rev. Sr. Angeline Vimal compered the ceremony.
Rector Rev. Dr. Lourdu Prasad Joseph, Administrator Rev. Fr. Gnana Pragasam, Assistant to Rector Rev. Fr. S. David Sagayaraj graced the occasion.
