Mysore/Mysuru: Timely tax payment by the tax-payers will help government implement various development projects and achieve the ambition of India becoming a 5 trillion dollar economy, said Kalpalata Rajan, Joint Commissioner of Income Tax (Range 1), Mysuru.
Addressing the gathering during an interaction programme organised by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Mysuru Branch, at its premises here yesterday, Kalpalata stressed the need for timely payment of taxes.
M. H. Hussain, Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, Circle 1 (1), Mysuru, heard the queries of tax-payers and provided them with solutions.
Income Tax Commissionerate, Mysuru, has urged the tax-payers to deposit the last instalment of the advance tax for financial year 2023-2024 before Mar.15.
The interaction concluded with the ICAI, Mysuru, highlighting how interest can be avoided by making payment of advance Income Tax.
