Sir,
The train number 12781/ 12782 Mysuru-H.Nizamuddin Swarnajayanti Express is the only train from Mysuru to connect New Delhi through Hubballi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Pune, Bhopal and Agra. The train runs via Mysuru-Hassan-Arsikere section but only on a weekly basis leaving every Friday from Mysuru.
As there is no facility of a daily service connectivity to New Delhi from Mysuru otherwise, there is now a need to increase the train’s frequency by upto two or three days a week. The train has not witnessed much changes related to its increase in frequency and has neither been augmented with a pairing rake to run on additional days otherwise.
As the train runs via Mysuru-Hassan-Arsikere section there is an urgent need to run an additional service apart from Fridays from Mysuru. This will highly benefit the regular passengers of Mysuru-Arsikere-Hassan section bound towards New Delhi. Hence, South Western Railway authorities at Mysuru Division are requested to increase the frequency of the train number 12781/12782 Mysuru-H.Nizamuddin Swarnajayanthi Express by augmenting an additional or pairing rake to the train and thus operate it as a regular bi-weekly or tri-weekly service from Mysuru.
